Clover Jean weddings is a black wedding celebrant. She is based in Amsterdam and London. The ceremonies are written for Dutch, international, and multicultural couples. Each wedding is officiated in a fun-filled, informal and relaxed way. Couples who want to publicly celebrate their love and commitment to each other choose Clover Jean Weddings.

Clover Jean weddings are personalised celebrant-led wedding ceremonies (non-legally binding). The marriage officiant offers (secular weddings) and dinner rehearsals.  She cannot officially marry you. Below you’ll find customer service agreement. And you can read the cancellation policy and celebrant-led ceremony pricing/fees.

UNCONVENTIONAL WEDDING CELEBRANT CEREMONY

CUSTOMER SERVICE AGREEMENT 

This customer agreement is between Clover Jean Weddings and the client. Hereinafter referred to as the client. The client agrees to employ the services of CLOVER JEAN WEDDINGS. She is an independent black marriage officiant – wedding celebrant. You agree to the following terms and conditions.

The Celebrant:

1. Agrees to incorporate your informal wedding ceremony wishes. CJW provides services at the agreed fee.
2. The initial meeting is face-to-face via WhatsApp. The second and final followup takes place at a location in Amsterdam.
3. The celebrant officiates the personalised and bespoke ceremony service. It is unique to you at the agreed time, date, and place. The officiant/celebrant arrives at the location 30 – 60 minutes before the ceremony start time.
4. The celebrant works with the client’s photographer/videographer. They both decide on the best position for the bridal party at the venue. The officiating celebrant oversees the ceremony. She positions herself at the altar in line with the couple’s wishes.
5. The celebrant provides a P.A. system on request only. A pen and a decorative symbolic certificate on the wedding day is provided.
6. Clover Jean Weddings celebrant’s informal wedding ceremony is not liable for the following: any injury, loss, claim, or damages during the use of the supplied equipment.
7. The contract will be terminated, if unforeseen circumstances arise such as illness, an accident or force majeure. Then, a replacement celebrant, officiant or choir will be found. However extra charges maybe incurred.

The client:

1. Agrees to arrive on time to commence the ceremony.  Delays of more than 30 minutes, the celebrant reserves the right to leave to honour another commitment.
2. The client may operate Clover Jean Weddings PA system. However, must assign someone to play the songs. Under the instruction of the celebrant this is allowed.
3. Must provide the final wording of their ceremony to Clover Jean Weddings Celebrant via email. This must occur no later than two (2) weeks before the wedding date or reaffirmation marriage ceremony.  If the wording for the script is not received by the due date, the celebrant retains the right to finalise the speech/script.
4. If planning an outdoor informal wedding service, the client must have an alternative plan, due to weather conditions.

PAYMENT AND REFUND

• Booking confirmation: Clover Jean Weddings in the Netherlands requires 500 euro deposit or 50% of the booking costs (incl. tax) to reserve a wedding date, 10 days after the initial meeting. A confirmation of the celebrant’s attendance is sent directly to the clients inbox.
• Payments: All payments are via Clover Jean Weddings bank details. Full and Final Payment is due 10 working days in advance of the couples wedding date.

AMENDMENT – CANCELLATION

• Subject to availability and without any additional marriage officiant fees and charges you can reschedule. As your celebrant I will officiate the ceremony. However, if unable to the amend your date a similar celebrant/officiant will be appointed. Extra costs may be incurred, however. NOTE: If the rescheduled wedding date and time is available, the deposit will cover it.

• So, subject to availability and without any additional marriage officiant fees and charges you can reschedule. Your booked choir/band are your wedding music entertainment. However, unable to the amend your date a similar choir/band will be appointed. Extra costs may be incurred, however.” NOTE: If the rescheduled wedding date is available, the deposit will cover it.

Amendment:

• Amendments made 14 days prior to the wedding ceremony will incur an extra cost of 150 euro’s.

Cancellation:

• Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of the wedding ceremony date, will receive a 100% refund minus the deposit. Cancellations made within 1 – 5 days will incur a 75% refund minus the deposit fee.

WEDDING CELEBRANT CEREMONY COSTS – COPYRIGHT

The marriage officiant fees for a celebrant :

(I)    Grants permission to the couple to use any pictures, photographs or videography taken during the informal wedding service.

(II)     Retains copyright of all written wedding ceremony copies in both draft and final form. However, couples may request a copy, extra costs apply.

The Client:

(I)     Agrees not to share, copy or reproduce any part of Clover Jean Weddings written speech without permission. However, can request a writtern of digigalt copy.

(II) For private use only; the client may take photos and videos of Clover Jean Weddings and ABC Gospel Choir.

(III) Client cannot share photos and videos on social media without the permission of Clover Jean Weddings.

(IV)     Grant permission for the photographer of Clover Jean Weddings to be present.

(V)     Grant permission for the usage of images of the Clover wedding ceremonies Amsterdam. This is including the client and social media. Sites used are Facebook, Instagram, Google and www.cloverjean.com.

Note: Accredited pictures and films are for promotional use only and will not be shared with third parties.

WEDDING CELEBRANT CEREMONY COSTS – COMPLAINTS

Do you have feedback or a complaint? This can be done within 8 days after the wedding ceremony service. Clients are to make the nature of their complaint known. Please forward your feedback to ‘Clover Jean Weddings, Nieuwe Leliestraat 38 HS, 1015ST, Amsterdam’. Complaints do not suspend the payment obligation.
