Hello,

I am a singer-songwriter/entertainer/comedienne known for my fun-loving energy and a warm soulful sound. My repertoire is Black Gospel, Blues, Jazz and Soul music. I have been influenced by British and American R n B and Motown artists; such as Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and the film Sister Act I/II.

Music and comedy has always played a huge role in my life. It has helped me to realize my dream and I am happy that I can share my love for singing and entertaining with you!

I have performed at care homes , wedding ceremonies, special, private and corporate events; accompanied by a backing track or pianist.

My love for comedy such as Charlie Chaplin, Laural and Hardy, Richard Prior and Whoopi Goldberg has led me to create several stand-up/clown characters. Each one has their own distinct identity and are delighted to entertain your family, friends or guests. They are available for your next corporate, private or special event!

The storyteller; a wise Jamaican grandma, who is highly educated but very often loses the plot. She wants to share her wisdom and her bottle of Rum with you, too! Her passion is to tell a story or an old anecdote about life! She sometimes burst out in song; because as she says; 'Bob Marley did write especially for me NO WOMAN NO CRY!'

She has glamour, wit and is a motivator/presenter. She is devoted to Oprah Winfrey and religiously watches her show. Anything 'O' says Shirley believes and will help those in need of a hand to find their way. This could also mean finding a car under their seats!

PRESENTATOR

As the presenter-interviewer or MC "Master of Ceremonies". My task is to welcome your guests and present performers, speak to the audience, and generally keep the event moving. I have trained in the art of "Audience Warm Up" participation, this I achieve by engaging an individual or the entire group. The tools I use are telling jokes or anecdotes.

Basically I make sure that your customers, colleagues, guests are given full attention and feel at ease. The only information I need is your ideas and input.
